HID Light: A Modern Lighting Device
An HID light is called a high intensity discharge light, and it bids several advantages over standard halogen light bulbs for indoor gardening. It produces a greater amount of light than a halogen lamp.
High-intensity discharge (HID) lights include these types of electrical lights: high-pressure sodium (Son), low-pressure sodium (Sox), mercury vapor, metal halide (also HQI), and less common, xenon short-arc lamps.
